As if a virtual vacation at Walt Disney World weren't enough, how about a little time travel thrown in for good measure? These pages detail some rather color-faded memories of my very first trip to Disneyland, sometime in June 1968. I would have been five and a half at the time.
Ah, just a young lad and already an adventurer at heart, if the stylish pith helmet is any indication. This picture was taken just inside the park entrance, below the Main Street railroad station with the flower murals in the background.
I have no idea who the girl was, though I've misplaced a second picture in the series where she appeared again. I wonder who she is and where she is now, and if we've ever unknowingly crossed paths again since in the Park?
