With your WACN   radio correspondent Wilfred T. Caltenbourne

Good day, Adventurers, wherever you are!

This is your on-the-spot reporter, Wilfred T. Caltenbourne, with headlines from The Adventurers Club:

AC NEWS FLASH - June 7, 2004

Steady and stalwart Club regular AdventurerKat files these news updates by wire from the steamy swamps of Orlando, Florida:

Our favorite frilly Club maids are putting on their pretty faces AND a new show in the Mask Room! That's right, Adventurers, these fine fillies of the feather duster are inviting visitors to participate in what's described as a type of entertaining game show. I don't know if prizes are involved, but when next Wilfred T. Caltenbourne lands in balmy Florida, he's definitely picking what's behind skirt number one!

Intrepid aviator Hathaway Browne will also land his own new show, which should soon take off in the Library! The details on this addition are still sketchy and there's no information on how this will change the ongoing Club activities, but WACN will broadcast updates as our field reporters learn more.

And hold on to your hairdos, Adventurers — the latest scoop from the I-4 corridor says that the Rhythm Ritual may be getting its drumbeat bangs cut off completely. AC members sensitive to the supernatural have detected an ominous growth of occult activity, reminiscent of the Club's previous possession by those Nomad Hairdressers from Hades! If these rumors are true, corral your coiffures and protect your pompadours because there's no telling what new hair-raising havoc will happen next! Whatever comes of this next adventure, this reporter can assure our listeners that it will be shear excitement.

THIS JUST IN - June 10, 2004

From the land of Adventurers, the most recent reports trickling in from the Club indicate this new show is combination of bits from the Rhythm Ritual and the I-4 Nomads routines, not a replacement of the former by the latter. Details are still sketchy at this time, as no doubt the Club officers are presenting spanking new material that will need time, practice and fine tuning before they have the new stuff down pat. As always, WACN will not part from this story, and will continue combing through report split ends to braid together the whole picture.

That's all for now, adventure fans! Thanks to AdventurerKat and in-the-know Club regulars at Yahoo Group: Adventurers Club for their fine reportage, and stay tuned to WACN for more updates as reports come in.
